It’s time to start creating your first task or work order.
Before you start, make sure your Maintenance Users have the "Facilities" tab visible and the correct permissions available to Create Work Orders (or View Work Orders). Ability to create work orders is managed via the Role-based Permission -> "Manage Work Orders" Permission

Mobile/Tablet App
Here's a look at the same process on the Mobile App / Tablet App.
Click on the "+" button from the 'Work' tab to begin and add work order details before you hit 'Create'.
Web App
On the Web app, navigate to the "Facilities" tab.
You will see all outstanding Work Orders here. Click on the "Add" button to create a new Work Order.

Here’s everything you can add to your work order:

Required:
- Add a Short Title to describe the work. This is required.

Optional or Required
- Location - This can be made optional or required via Task Settings (which can be found by navigating "Setings" -> "Workspace Settings" -> "Task Settings"

Optional:
- Specify a category for your task as well, such as general, inspection, or repair. Your team defines these categories so you can also create them based on different functions in your company such as administration, maintenance, HR, and so on.
- Attach a document or a Xenia checklist with your task.
- You can capture an image related to the work order for Assignees & Managers to view by clicking on the 'Choose Image' button
- Assign a team member to this task, set a priority, and assign a deadline if you like.
- You can also add a location to help clarify exactly where the task needs to be performed.
- Asset field is optional but can be helpful for reporting purposes (Example: filter and grouping work orders by asset by location)
- For repeating work orders, we recommend using our Projects or Schedules features.
Once done, hit ‘Create’ to begin tracking.
