1. The Short Answer
Home screen layout in Xenia is assigned by role. Your admin chooses which layout each role sees. If your colleague is in a different role, they'll see a different home screen — and both are correct.
2. The Two Main Layout Types
Location Pulse (frontline/store-level): Shows today's tasks, completion progress, overdue items, and recent photos. Designed for employees and store managers whose focus is completing today's operational work.
Manager Dashboard: Shows charts, completion rates, flagged items, and multi-location data. Designed for district managers and above whose job is monitoring the operation across many stores.
3. What Stays the Same
The bottom navigation tabs (Home, Work, Templates, Comms) are the same regardless of which home screen layout you have. The home screen is different — everything else is the same.
If Your Home Screen Doesn't Match This Guide
Some articles and videos in this guide show the Location Pulse view as the default. If your home screen looks different, your admin configured a custom layout for your role. Everything described still applies — your tasks, notifications, and checklists work the same way. Navigate to them using the bottom tabs if they're not on your home screen.
