1. Common Causes and Fixes
1. Close and reopen the app: Force-close the app (swipe it away in the app switcher) and reopen it. This clears the app's active memory and is the fastest first step.
2. Check your connection: A slow app is often a slow connection. Check if you're on weak Wi-Fi or poor mobile signal. Switch to a stronger signal or mobile data if Wi-Fi is unreliable.
3. Free up device storage: If your phone or tablet is almost out of storage, apps run slower. Check your device storage (Settings → General → About on iPhone, or Settings → Storage on Android). Delete unused apps or photos to free space.
4. Update the app: Older versions of the app may have performance issues. Check the App Store or Google Play for a Xenia update.
5. Restart the device: A full device restart clears background processes and usually improves performance significantly — especially on shared store tablets that run continuously.
6. Clear the API cache: If you have access to Diagnostic Tools (side menu → Diagnostic Tools), you can see the API cache size. If it's large (many MBs), clearing it may help — but only do this if the Xenia support team advises it. Do not clear storage on your own.
