How to Change Your Notification Preferences (push, email, SMS, none)

This article explains how to manage your notification preferences in Xenia. You will learn how to control notification channels and ensure your device receives alerts properly.

  1. Open the Xenia app
  2. Tap your profile icon or initials in the top left corner
  3. Tap Notification Settings

2. What You Can Configure

Notification preferences may be configurable per notification type depending on your workspace:

  • Task assignments and reminders
  • Overdue and missed task alerts
  • Announcements
  • Chat messages
  • Work Order updates
  • Approval actions

Toggle each type on or off, and set which channel(s) it uses. 

Verify Device Notification Permissions

3. Save Your Settings

After making changes, save. Changes take effect immediately for new notifications — they won't retroactively change notifications already sent.


Note: Device-Level Permission Is Separate

Even if push is enabled in Xenia, your device also needs to allow Xenia to send notifications. If push notifications aren't arriving after enabling them here, check your device settings: Settings → Xenia → Notifications → Allow.
