1. When You Can Submit
The Submit button becomes active — tappable, fully colored — when all required steps have been answered. Required steps are marked with a visual indicator throughout the checklist.
If the Submit button is grayed out or inactive, at least one required step hasn't been answered. The checklist will tell you which steps are missing when you try to submit.
2. How to Submit
- Complete all steps in the checklist
- Confirm all required steps are answered (check any section with incomplete indicators)
- Scroll to the bottom of the checklist (or find the Submit button at the top if it's persistent)
- Tap Submit
- A confirmation prompt appears — confirm the submission
- Done
3. Submission Is Immediate
When you tap Submit with unanswered required steps:
- The checklist highlights the incomplete steps with a visual indicator
- The screen may scroll automatically to the first missing step
- You must answer all highlighted steps before submission is allowed
The moment you confirm Submit:
- The submission is recorded on Xenia's servers in real time
- Your manager can see the completed submission immediately
- The task status changes to Completed (or Completed Late if past the due time)
- Any corrective tasks triggered by failing answers have already been created
- Any notification recipients have already been sent their alerts
- The task moves off your active list
You don't need to be on Wi-Fi for every step of the checklist — the app works offline and syncs when connectivity is restored. But the final submission confirmation requires a connection to reach the server.
Offline Submission
If you submit while offline:
- The submission is queued locally on the device (visible in the Debug Panel as "Local submissions — pending submit")
- When connectivity is restored, the submission syncs automatically
- You'll see the submission confirmed in your history once it syncs
If you're consistently having sync issues, go to the side menu → Diagnostic Tools → check the Local submissions count. Contact support if items stay pending for an extended period.
