This article explains how to configure the overdue missed notifier feature in Xenia. You will learn how to set up notifications to alert the right leaders when tasks are completed on time or become overdue.

1. Quick Answer

Overdue: Due time passed. Task is still completable. Employee can still submit — it records as Completed Late. Notifications fired at the due time.

Missed: Due time passed AND "Mark as Missed after due time" is ON in the project settings. Task is locked — the button is gone. Counts as Incomplete. Notifications still fired.

The difference is controlled by: Operations → Projects → [Project] → Edit → Mark as Missed after due time passes.
