1. The Explanation
Invite links in Xenia are time-based — they expire after a certain period. When a user clicks an expired invite link, they currently land on a blank or black screen with a "This site can't be reached" error rather than a helpful error message.
This is a known behavior that the engineering team is actively working to improve. A proper error message ("This invite link has expired — please request a new one") will be added in an upcoming update.
If a user reports this error: The invite link has expired. Resend the invite from Settings → Users.
2. How to Resend an Invite
- Go to Settings → Users
- Find the user in the list
- Click the three dots (⋯) next to their name
- Select Resend Invite
- A new invite email is sent to the user's address immediately
The user should use the new link. The old link will no longer work.
3. What the User Should Do
If you received an invite email and are seeing a blank screen or error when you click the link:
- The link has expired — do not try again with the same link
- Contact your manager or workspace admin and ask them to resend your invite
Once they resend, use the link in the new email, not the original one
