We’re excited to announce the rollout of new features that streamline task assignment, improve file management, and refine location settings within Xenia. These updates are designed to enhance how you interact with Xenia, making your experience more efficient and compliant.

Now streamline your workflow by assigning tasks directly to roles, ensuring that all relevant team members can see and act on tasks appropriate to their roles. For instance, you can assign the "End of Day Closing" task to the "Manager" role, and every manager will automatically have access to complete this daily essential.

Role Flexibility: Assign tasks to a role like "Cashier" or "Supervisor" rather than specific individuals, which is ideal for roles with high employee turnover.

Efficiency in Scaling: Automatically scale task visibility according to role assignments. As new team members join and are assigned roles, they gain access to relevant tasks without additional setup.

Create a separate task for each user in role: Automatically generate individual tasks for each user holding a specific role, ensuring personalized task assignment within their operational scope.

Create a separate task for each site in location: Distribute tasks to each site under a given location, facilitating site-specific responsibilities and improving localized management and oversight.

Example: Assign the "Daily Opening Checklist" to the "Store Manager" role, ensuring each store manager sees and completes the checklist specific to their location. This automation keeps the task relevant and directly tied to each manager's assigned store.

Enhance your ability to manage documents on Xenia with our new background uploading feature. Now, you can upload large files like training materials or complex reports without pausing other activities within the app.

Upload Large Files: There is no longer a 100 MB per file uploading limit—upload large files in GBs seamlessly.

Multitask During Uploads: Continue navigating through Xenia and perform other tasks while your files upload in the background.

Resume Incomplete Uploads: If an upload is interrupted, you can pick up right where you left off, saving you time and frustration.

Example: Upload a 3 GB training video module while simultaneously updating task lists or checking reports.

Define and manage your operational sites more effectively with our new site logic feature, enhancing how tasks and templates apply to specific locations.

Precise Site Targeting: Specify which level in your location hierarchy is considered a "site" to ensure tasks and reports are accurately aligned with actual operational zones like stores or warehouses.

Automated Task Assignment by Site: Assign tasks to a region or role, and Xenia will automatically generate tasks for each site within that setting, simplifying the management process.

Example: When setting up a regional promotional campaign, just assign the task to the "Southeast Region," and each store within that region will receive its specific instructions, adjusted for local execution.

Please note that site-based logic in assignment is only functional for tasks assigned to roles right now.
