Xenia’s dashboard feature allows users to create personalized reports using custom widgets and filters, providing insights tailored to their specific needs. Follow the steps below to create your first custom dashboard:

Step 1: Access the Dashboard Module

  • Log in to your Xenia workspace.
  • From the left-hand navigation menu, click on “Dashboards” located at the bottom.
  • You will be presented with two options: Dashboard Templates and Custom Dashboards. Select Custom Dashboards.

Step 2: Start Creating a Dashboard

  • Once in the Custom Dashboards tab, you will see a welcome message that invites you to create your personalized dashboard.
  • Click the purple “Create Your First Dashboard” button to begin (refer to the first screenshot).

Step 3: Choose a Chart Type

  • After clicking “Create Your First Dashboard,” you will be taken to the dashboard creation screen.
  • A window will pop up asking what type of chart you want to create. Options include
    Tasks & Work Orders.
    Scheduled Work.
    Template Submissions.
    Flagged/Failed Items.
  •  Select the chart type that fits your reporting needs.

Step 4: Add a Chart Widget

1. After choosing a chart type, the Add Chart window will open.
2. Here, you will configure the chart:
   - Chart Title: Provide a title for your chart.
   - Chart Type: Choose from various chart formats such as Bar, Line, Pie, Number, or Table.
   - Select Variable: Choose the variable you want the chart to represent, such as the number of tasks or flagged items.

Step 5: Apply Filters

  • Under the Filters section, you can narrow down your data by selecting criteria that match your needs.
  •  You can filter by Status, Template, Assignee, Category, Completed By, Task Type, and more.
  •  Use the Add Filter option to include more variables if needed.

Step 6: Preview and Finalize

  • As you adjust your chart settings, you will see a Preview of the chart in real-time (visible in the third screenshot).
  • Once you’re satisfied with the configuration, click Create to add the chart to your dashboard.

Step 7: Customize and Save

  • You can continue to add multiple charts to your dashboard by repeating the steps above.
  • Once you have all the widgets in place, customize the layout and arrange the charts to your preference.
  • Save your dashboard for future use, allowing you and your team to monitor the most relevant metrics easily.
