As we enter November, we're excited to introduce two pivotal features aimed at refining your data collection and evaluation processes on Xenia. By incorporating your valuable feedback and our commitment to enhancing user experience, we've crafted features that promote precision and efficiency. Let’s dive into the details!

🔢 Weighted Scoring: Conduct Scored Inspections, Audits, & Checks

Weighted scoring works by assigning a value or 'weight' to a specific question or step in a template. For multiple choice steps, you can assign different weight values to each response. A score is then calculated by adding up all the individual scores received for each step and dividing that by the total available points. To enable Weighted Scoring head over to the Operations Templates feature and start with a new or existing template.

This allows for a more nuanced evaluation, emphasizing the importance of certain questions over others. Use weighted scoring to gain deeper insights and compare submissions over time and across locations.

💡 An Illustrative Example:

Consider this: "Are the high-traffic areas sanitized this morning?" with choices "Yes" (5 points) or "No" (1 point).

A user selecting "No" would only receive 20% of the available points.

🔴 Required Step: Ensuring Submission Completeness

We understand the importance of capturing all necessary information. Our new Required Step feature ensures that no crucial question or step is missed during submissions.

Users are mandated to address specific questions or steps in a submission form. If any of these pivotal steps are missed, the submission process halts until all these steps receive responses.

Initiating Required Steps is a breeze. Simply open the Template Builder screen and click on the "Required Step" checkbox beneath the desired step(s).

Should users overlook any Required Steps, they will be prompted to complete them before proceeding. Clicking on the "Review" button activates the Review Mode, spotlighting only the Required Steps pending completion. This feature has been integrated cohesively across our Web and Mobile App platforms.
