Why Use Xenia for Safety Inspections

  • Updated

Not everyone takes inspections as seriously as they should. After all, your equipment is what enables your company’s success.

Checklists in Xenia help make inspections more thorough. Users can rest assured that they won’t be forgetting a crucial step that costs the breakdown of a machine or compromises the safety of the workplace.

Why Xenia?

The short story:

  • Ease of use
  • Mobile-friendly
  • Vast inspection template library

The details:

Xenia gives you access to pre-built digital safety inspection checklists that users can fill out from anywhere on their mobile devices. They are easy to use and quick to access at any time and don't require a learning curve.

Why is this important? Deskless team members are usually working away from a desk, often on the move. This creates the need for mobile-friendly tools that work with employees just like they do.

To top this off, Xenia is extremely easy to use which means that teams don't have to spend weeks learning a new tool wasting precious employee hours.

Xenia Safety Inspections in Action

Let’s see how we can get this done through checklists.

You can either add an inspection checklist from the public templates or create your own. We’ll try using a public template.

  1. Head to Checklists dashboard and open the Public Templates tab.
  2. Choose the safety inspection checklist you’d like.
  3. Assign this to the team member responsible for carrying out this inspection.
  4. Set a priority and deadline to track progress.
  5. Set the work order to recurring if this is a periodic inspection.
  6. As the user works on the checklist entry, they check off action items. A checklist score is assigned at the end as a quality assurance metric to see how thorough the inspection was. It also makes it easier to check for faults or signs of degradation.
